的海外合资经营出现了较大的变化，如何理解和应对这些变化，在理论和实践上都需要关注。在本文中，我们首先梳理出合资子公司的一般演化路径，并通过各个阶段的二重特征具体展现合资子公司的一般成长历程;而后从跨国公司母公司的战略视角出发，运用战略决策时间序列图，研究跨国公司为何与如何进行战略决策，研究了由合资向独资转换、保持合资和合资规模扩张、从合资中撤资这几种主要战略决策，这些不同的战略决策导致了合资子公司不同的特殊演化路径，具体揭示了合资子公司在现实中的种种发展态势。根据本文的研究，可以解释合资子公司的已有变动，以及判断和影响他们的未来走向。在研究中，我们力求从根源上揭示跨国公司的战略新调整，找出合资子公司不同命运的策源之处。同时，我们探讨了影响合资子公司演化路径的一些策略，可以帮助有关合资方把握和提升合资子公司的效率，赢得比较成功的合资经营。
